Main Themes in the WELP Series
No WELP lessons found yet. New posts will appear here as they are published.
Exploring how Roman patrician culture, law, and Western European religious history
shaped harsh, top-down, patriarchal styles that do not fully match the New Testament Christ.
How matriarchal and worship cultures, fear of women, and reactionary doctrine helped
fuel controlling patterns in both patriarchy and false “covering” teaching.
Looking at Levitical and prophetic roots, “adventures in WELP” within modern charismatic,
prophetic, and apostolic circles, and how to discern and avoid repeating the patterns.
How This WELP Series Works
This is a continuing series, not a fixed 6-week course. You may read by topic, follow new posts
as they appear in the WELP Leadership Series category, or use these writings to train leadership
teams, Bible schools, and discernment groups.
Suggested Use
- As a deep-dive leadership track for pastors and senior staff.
- For healing and understanding after WELP-style ministry experiences.
- As material for small groups or round table discussions on authority, control, and servant leadership.
WELP Leadership Training
A continuing 4–6 week Bible school course on Western European Levitical Patriarchism
(WELP), tracing its roots and contrasting it with First-Church servant leadership.
Roman patrician culture, patriarchy, and how non-Biblical patterns began to mix
with early church leadership.
From European witch trials and inquisitions to the spirit of suspicion and
accusation in later church history.
How control, hierarchy, “covering,” and celebrity ministry mirror old WELP traits
in a new, media-driven format.
Comparing “WELP traits” with New Testament traits: Ephesians 4, Acts 17:17,
mutual submission, and servant leadership.
How wounded leaders and saints can process spiritual trauma, forgive, set healthy
boundaries, and recover joy.
Practical ideas for First-Church style teams, cross-body unity, and servant
apostolic leadership without domination.
Course Overview
This course is designed for pastors, staff, five-fold leaders, and serious believers
who sense that something is “off” in many modern systems but cannot always put words
or Bible language to it. We trace the history, define the fruit, and return to the
First-Church model of Ephesians 4 community and mutual respect.
Who This is For
- Senior leaders and staff who want to avoid WELP patterns in their own house.
- Believers recovering from controlling, shaming, or accusing ministry cultures.
- Thinkers and “watchmen” who need language and Bible backing for what they discern.
